Schroeder's Gears Up for Beer Week
If you missed Schroeder's famous Oktoberfest celebration, you'll get a second chance to partake in an you all-you-can-drink (until kegs run dry) from the likes of Fort Point, Headlands, Sonoma Spring, Linden Street and Anderson Valley breweries. Perfectly paired German bites and piles of sausages will help get you through, and DJ Jerry Ross will keep you on your feet. Tickets are $50/person.

Celebrate Valentine's Day at Bourbon Steak
Romance is in the air as Valentine’s Day approaches. Don’t let the most romantic holiday of the year catch you off guard, as February 14 falls on a Tuesday in 2017. Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, located at Levi’s Stadium, offers a delicious menu for guests to enjoy at their own pace. Valentine’s dinner can be enjoyed either in a flexible a la carte menu with items you will fall in love with as well as the freedom to choose - or in a three course menu for $95 a person. To start things off, a spectacular Shellfish Tasting menu for two ($84) will certainly whet your appetite with Alaskan King Crab, Gulf Shrimp and Kusshi Oysters. Or choose from starting items such as Truffle Gougere ($15) with Black River Ostera Caviar and whipped crème fraiche or Santa Barbara Spot Prawns ($19) with carmelized fennel and green garlic. Main courses from the wood-fired grill include classics such as New York Strip ($52) with celery root fondant and black garlic or lesser known but truly vibrant Wood Roasted Branzino with Meyer lemon mojo and Romanesco ($36). Pair with locally farmed sides such as Crispy Broccoli with Yuzu Garlic Ponzu ($9) or Fingerling Potato Poutine with Short Rib Gravy ($12) along with Bourbon Steak’s award winning wine list from around the world. Finally, a sweet finish with an opulent Chocolate S’more Bar of dark chocolate ganache with smoked marshmallow and graham cracker ice cream ($11) or a classic Strawberry Shortcake replete with white chocolate mousse ($12).

BEST BRUNCH ON PACIFIC HEIGHT’S FILLMORE STREET – NEWLY REOPENED THE ELITE CAFE For those of you Pacific Heights residents like me I’m sure you have been to the reopened Elite Cafe on Fillmore Street. I love the fresh new design and color palette (dark grey, gold and clean white marble counters) paired with a great menu focusing on some delicious southern comfort food. And the best part for parents is this a super kid friendly dining experience I went with a friend and her toddler and we all really enjoyed ourselves. 2049 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA 94115.
